Following £22.9m of support awarded through the ‘Towns Fund’ a Town Board for Crewe was set up with representatives from the community, public, private and voluntary sectors – to manage the bid.
‘Board Members have been talking to communities and leaders across the town to gather project proposals and find out what outcomes people want to see.
A final list of projects will feed into Crewe’s 10-year Town Investment Plan.’
This programme is set to impact on the local business community investment rolls out to bring new life and vigour to the area. It’s only a matter of time before the impact of this starts to filter into our commercial presence.
